The Bag Lady is a wildly successful retail business whose aim is to inspire creativity, spirituality, hilarity, random enchantment and unmitigated joy in our customers.
 
Our monthly events and product selection are carefully curated with that goal in mind; offering provisions to bring out your wild soul.
 
A trip to The Bag Lady is an adventure for your senses. From our amazing collection of crystals, our multiple incense and smudging choices to the Reiki-infused, scented candles; from the singing bowls of all shapes and sizes to the glowing salt lamps; the wide selection of jewelry to the oracle & tarot cards, not to mention an impressive collection of local products. There is something to delight you in every corner of the store.
 
The Bag Lady also boasts a great selection of books for readers of all ages, including children and young adults. We won "Best Bookstore" in 2018 from Charlotte Awards. Our topics include fiction, health and wellness, creativity, self-help, and spirituality. We are especially proud of our children's books which have many empowering books that educate on women's history, highlighting women of color as well as LGBTQIA+ topics.  We’ve got something for everyone!
