The colors of the leaves have arrived! Fall is officially here and I am all for it.
This Full Moon known as the Harvest Moon is the first Full Moon following the first day of Fall. This brings not one but 3 Supermoons for the remainder of this year. A Supermoon is when the moon appears bigger and brighter in the sky, and brings heightened emotions and amplified energy.
In indigenous cultures, the Harvest Moon is a call to gather what you’ve grown and let go of what you no longer need to carry into winter. As the last full moon of the harvest season, it marks a moment of gathering final resources and preparing for what lies ahead. Spiritually, it marks a moment of both celebration and reckoning. It’s a time to take stock of what you’ve planted, what you’ve harvested, and what still needs to be released.
This is the moon that lights the way during the final days of the harvest season and reminds you to set your intentions as we descend into the darker half of the year.
The October Full Moon, resides in the fire sign of Aries. Aries ruled by Mars, is the planet of action, courage, and intuition. This energy can feel bold, impulsive, and fiery. Don’t mistake this energy for charging ahead blindly. It is abut trusting your instincts. It’s about moving forward with intention.
Join me this full moon circle as we ask ourselves, “What next step have I been waiting to take?”
Let us move from the ordinary to the extraordinary. A most magical evening awaits us all!
