Light Up Your Intentions! - in this deLIGHTful playshop (we’re not working, so why call it a workshop?), you will learn all about those blessed bees including hive culture, bee roles, Queen bees, and where beeswax comes from. After you’ve learned all about their fierce, fiery, sweet, feminine energy, you’ll learn how to hand roll a pillar beeswax candle that will help you focus on your intention, dream, hope, or prayer. You’ll leave with a candle, handout, and resources and skills to create more candles. We will begin with a brief circle to recognize and honor Mabon. Blessed bee!

Kate Stockman is an artist, teacher, and writer who creates art to honor Nature and the Self. Her “TouchStones Anecdotal Art” (each piece tells a story; perhaps it touches your story) combines vintage sterling silver components, semi-precious stones, handmade lampwork glass beads, and occasional bits of Nature in stunning arrangements. Kate is also a bookbinder, and her “Treasures ReCovered” upcycles antique and vintage book covers doomed to the recycle bin into journals and albums.
Kate relishes teaching personally designed playshops that encourage creativity, and offers a plethora of supplies so participants can dive in and play in a safe, non-judgmental setting. Kate lives in Saluda, NC, with her husband Andrew and their four-legged family members, rescued pup Copper and a black cat named Magic.
